Ohhhhh man I wanna skate this…

Overlooked Gem. I haven’t skated this spot in 2 years now. I tried over this winter several times, but it was too sandy. I ventured over today, and it is PERFECT! There’s a moderate-speed double ess at the bottom, and as you venture farther uphill, you reach a 20ish% grade steep-as-hell straightaway. It’s gnar, and although it’s Tuna-style chipseal, Baluts slide like butter on it. Plus it’s only a couple minutes from my apt. Expect a video filmed here! -Mike

Always great to hear good news like this. Sounds like it was a hard fought and well organized effort, cheers to them!

After a nearly two-year battle with City Council and a petition that gathered over 1500 signatures, local longboarders have won the right to skate along Saskatoon’s bike lanes and trails. The campaign, led by local engineer and longboard enthusiast, Michael Nemeth, was started in 2010 in…

Love the motion blur in this. Cannot wait to skate this course soon, too!

I shot this yesterday with weaves. One of the first times being behind the camera instead of infront of it, super stoked on doing more of this in the future.

While I love our friends over at Loaded and Orangatang it’s nice to see Amanda making moves that she feels are best for her. Sector 9 has been steadily building a gnarly team, I can’t wait to see what comes of it in the near future.

Good luck Amanda!

Fuck yeah I can finally tell everyone that I am SO stoked to join the Sector 9 Downhill Team. I am forever grateful for all the ways Loaded/Orangtang has supported me as a skater and I am hella excited for all that is to come! Stay tuned. (;

I’m on crutches and my neck is killing me. Not digging this.

Took some pictures of spare gear while Norm was mounting the Bustin’ EQ for the first time.

As of today a favorite spot has been blown by a series of very unfortunate events.  A raw run of the last time Harry Hubbell skated there is all we have to remember her by.

Check out my newest video with Team Mids.

This is one of the more epic tats I’ve ever seen. So well done.

Henry Goguen’s rider profile. I did all of the filming and editing and am pretty proud of how it turned out considering it was a first attempt. I learned a lot from it and can’t wait to film another soon.
